One day I gave people magic markers and asked them to make signs with whatever they wanted to say to the world. Some of the signs were inspirational, some humorous, and some of them cut right to the root of what these folks were feeling.          I think that this sign is a call for help. How does our society respond? We make sure that if he uses any drugs we will send him to jail. We see to it that he doesn't get drunk and clutter up the streets. We make every effort to keep him off welfare. We try very hard to keep him out of sight. We do our best to pretend that he doesn't exist.
