Every time I go to State Street I bring prints of some of the pictures I have taken and I give them to the subjects. At first I did it to buy their trust, now I do it so that they can see themselves through my eyes.  I have been taking pictures of people for over 30 years and I have never had any subjects react as well as these people do. They love themselves in their pictures. That alone is rich reward for my work.
